I searched a long time to find a clock that didn't light up half my bedroom at night, and the lowest setting on this one is perfect (you can barely see it during the day but it's exactly the right contrast for at night). Add to that nice big numbers, dual alarms, wake to CD/buzzer/radio (by the way, it's SO much nice to wake to a CD than a loud buzz), and very intuitive controls.
