 Rating:  - Cheap, cheap, cheapCheap zippers; both the reflector and case zippers broke on the first day. on the third use the wire frame within the reflector snapped. I would save your money to buy something more durable. Rating:  - gets the job doneso I picked up this little kit for my growing home studio, it was exactly what I though it would be. The kit includes the 5-1 reflector, stand, and arm. It is not the most ruged thing around. It is top heavy so consider using a sandbag. However the most anoying thing about it is the zipper. It is an average zipper, it gets stuck at times and has a hard time working its way around the large diameter. It can be pretty frustrating. But, all in all the kit works just as described. It was not a dissaponitment at all. Everything worked as stated. The video that came with it is a bit elementary but fun to watch. I have already used it and I am very pleased! Rating: - Quality reflectors...poor stand (or should I say "boom")These reflectors are VERY large and GREAT quality. They are worth the money...HOWEVER, the weight of the reflectors, when on the stand, make it top heavy. You'll have to anchor it with sand bags. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase. In my opinion, the reflectors alone are worth the money. the stand is okay... the "boom" is the issue. Additionally, the clips that hold the reflector on can be a REAL pain to get on. A diagram of how to put them on would have made life a LOT easier the first ... Read More Rating: - Best bang for your buckThis is quite a bargain. If you bought this separately it would end up costing you much more. End of story. WARNING: You will need a sandbag or some type of weight on the base of the stand if you intend to extend the arm away from the stand itself. WARNING: Inspect the zipper of your double sided cover. I had to go through two before I go one that wasn't all jacked up. Well worth it though. |
