It arrived in good condition, and the sensor works great, even though that opening noise can get to you after a day of it. The main gripe is that the trashcan ripped the bag apart whenever I had to take the bag out of it! It is designed with plastic parts that jut out towards the bag making EVERY time I changed the bag a wrestling match resulting in a ripped trashbag ... There is a rim where the trash bag holder sits so that the liner is not visible. When you have contents in the bag and try to remove it the bag catches on the rim and rips open the bag. This can be very messy. We now under fill the bag to avoid this problem. However, by under-filling it we did not move up in capacity from the trash can that we replaced.
