Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Norton 360 2008
Norton 360 All-In-One Security Annual Subscription - 3 PCs This is a very usful tool. I used to use Norton Systemworks and read about this and thought it would work much better. It has worked much better.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - stay with internet security
for years, I never trusted anyone, but Symantec, for computer protection, I have 6 Running PCs, and 3 laptops, all have the Internet security 2007, one has symantec end point protection, since the OS is Windows XP pro 64 bit, tried Norton 360 on one PC, and One Laptop both running win XP Pro 32, the results were:
-noticeable slow down, lower performance
-crashes just doubled.
-the interface is not easy to use, I am an IT Professional, and had hard time figuring out a few things

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - works for what it was intended to do
good virus protection and very convenient for family use since it can be used on 3 PC s ; if it is not 100% protecting then of course the risk will be that you end up with 3 infected PCs.............

Well I think it is great that they let you upgrade to 2.0 for free if you have a 1.0 or 1.1 edition.

However they get a 2 out of 5 because they don't have any support (meaning it will not install) on XP Pro x64. With today's market most people are running 64 bit OS and you can't exclude them with a product.

However if you have 64 bit Vista then it will work it doesn't work on 64 bit XP Pro.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Works, if you don't want to do anything else with the computer
I had the 2007 version of Norton Internet Security installed on my laptop, and it worked well. When it came time to upgrade, I thought that I'd try Norton 360. Big mistake.

Norton 360 does protect your computer, so it does work. But, since Norton 360 occasionally uses 100% of both cores (while I am trying to use the computer), occasionally accesses my CD-ROM incessently for no apparent reason(until I eject it), and my computer now occasionally freezes for a few seconds, I think that ...
