I wanted to be able to charge my Shuffle when I was traveling without a computer and I bought both this and the Bargaincell car charger. I plugged the Shuffle into the wall charger at the hotel after using it for quite a while on the plane. When I went to unplug it, the Shuffle was very hot to the touch and it would no longer work - the sound was low and distorted.
