I've had the Speck Hard Case for about 6 weeks now and it has been working great. No problems with scratching or anything. I've found it to be a great product!

The case is as described, works great, protects the mac and fits great. My mac started to wear on the edges and it even protects that. I don't travel with it, its just in the house, but i still highly recommend it to protect your investment.

Rating: - Nice but InCase covers are better
Protects the macbook well. No problems with dust scratches as some reviewers have reported but I kept it pretty clean. Returned the product because the InCase cover was better - ICase was softer to the touch and had nice cooling holes on the bottom.

Rating: - forget this go with U-suit
Those of us that are overprotective with our MacBooks and do not like to see it scratched up should not get Speck's hard case. Within a few weeks I had man scratches all over the smooth white surface. Grant it, I dropped my MacBook outside on the ground and this case protected it, but overall it's not worth it. I have swiched to U-suit. It has a soft protection on both inside and outside of the case and snaps on the MacBook the same way Speck hard case does.
