It makes noises that are not obnoxious or too loud and has a flashing light that is pretty cool. It has lost a couple of minor parts (one rear-view mirror & the cover for the light on top) in the process but has held up pretty well despite the abuse. Read More Rating: - My kids still love this oneI bought this for my son over a year ago and he or my daughter use it almost every day. They really like the lights. I never gave them the water shooting thing. I guess that is the only drawback to this toy is that the water shooter is pretty useless. It is great for creative, imaginary play and it has been very durable. The water spout connector that shoots out the fake water barely stays on the truck or ladder (depending on which location you choose). It needs a better connection so that it doesn't come off so easy. Otherwise, this toy is awesome.
