No adhesive that is hard to get off and put on because they are to thin(cheap,cheap)and I am not a little bird. I also have a rotator cuff tear, and I swear these are the only pain relief that gets me through the night. The pads are easy to apply and boy are they black the next morning. Now this is my experience. The first day after I wore them I felt really good, but I couldn't think of why. I had totally forgotten about the foot pads. Next day same thing. I believe these really do make me feel better and it's not in my head.
