Monostat-RS monopods are the ideal imaging solution for most photographic situations, but backpackers, nature and sports photographers need the lightest, strongest possible monopod. That's when Monostat's RS16K Carbon is the answer. Constructed of high-tech carbon fiber, the RS16K Carbon can handle even the heaviest digital or film SLR or video camera without any problems making it the perfect monopod for serious amateur or professional photography and video applications. Like all Monostat monopods, the RS16K Carbon has the unique Rotation Stabilizer foot ensuring steady shots with even heavy super-telephoto lenses guaranteeing the capture of tack-sharp pictures from the first shot. The monopod's vibration absorbing carbon fiber construction combined with the foot's revolutionary "Swivel Toe Stabilizer" even permits photographers to make rock-steady shots at up to a 60-degree angle from the horizontal. The strength and rigidity of the RS16K Carbon makes it ideal for extreme weather conditions where the surface of the four-section tube doesn't get as hot - or cold - as a metal monopod can The Rotation Stabilizer foot keeps the monopod stable along both vertical and horizontal axes and its carbon fiber construction offers inherent vibration damping qualities and along with its light weight makes it easy to carry on your next photo or video trek.
