![]() Rating: - I like itThis is a great watch. It helps me greatly when I am working out. Not only does it display my heart rate, but it also gives me five different ranges to choose from. I also like the review mode where it tells me how my workout was such as max heartrate, min heartrate, average heartrate, and calories burned. When buying it, I was a little worried that it may be too big, but it is a good size for a watch. I also misread the description and I thought the watch would download data to my ... Went with a Suunto. Rating: - Overall Great HRM WatchThis is a great overall watch. It has a lot of features, the multi-lap chrono, the countdown timer, alarm, and of course 5 zone + manual HRM feature. I find the out of range alert very helpful while working out...the bell will ring slow if I go over my range limit, and rings fast if I need to go faster. The one thing that I have not figured out is how to stop my workouts. I've been fumbling around with it many times but Timex does not make it too easy to turn off the HRM. I know other ... Read More Rating: - Good but complicatedThis is a very good watch, with a lot of functions but, if you're not used to have a watch with so many buttons, you really need to read the manual and pay a lot of attention to it. The basic functions are quite simple but, if you want to use it as a trainning gadget, you'll need to manually set few things that are not so intuitive. In general I'm very happy with it and I'm sure that with a little of practice I'll get to understand the whole capability it has. Rating: - it worksPro: I average 10 miles a week with legs and lungs to supplement my martial arts practice and I stand 5'9" and weigh 180lbs. The basic features for this watch are great for the casual to semi-serious runners and work out junkies. HRM, Target Zones that beeps if you exceed or fall below, average heart beats per lap, and approximate calories burned (I wouldn't really rely on this because every body is different) are to name a few of the features that I like. A very AFFORDABLE HRM watch, I've been ... Read More |
