This action/shooter hybrid reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new never-before-seen locations, such as Umbrella's stronghold. Classic locations from previous Resident Evil games in full 3D, including the mansion from the original and RE 0, and elements of Raccoon City from RE2 and 3. Umbrella's stronghold, a new location, holds many secrets to events throughout the RE series. Returning characters from many RE games, including Billy Coen, Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira. ESRB Rated M for Mature Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - It's fun to shoot stuff, really it isBasically all that you do is go around and shoot things to try to make their heads blow up. It's pretty engaging. There isn't a whole lot of thought required, which is nice. Just shoot at everything that moves, and even things that don't. You can shoot pretty much everything in the environment to varying results. There is also a lot of content (worth unlocking) to unlock, and two player is quite fun. If you want to shoot some zombies and not have to worry about solving puzzles and decyphering ... Read More Rating: - Is a fun gameGame is a fun first person shooter game. My only complaint is you don't have much control over your view. You can look around a bit with the nunchuck, but there's not a lot of movement in any direction. This would be nice as the computer moves you and sometimes moves you too fast so I miss objects and would like to be able to still pick them up. Other than that it is a fun game and works well with the gun. Rating: - Good but different resident evilThis game is really fun with a friend. However, be warned, it is not like other resident evils. This is a SHOOTING game, not a puzzle/action game like the others. It is very much like House of the Dead, but with more depth and goodies. I have played it for over 20 hours, but most of you will not play for that long. The game will likely take about 8-12 hours to beat all the sublevels and main levels. It does have replay value in that you can upgrade guns, somewhat like resident evil 4. Very fun with ... Read More Rating: - Capcom, you blew it big time.Coming off of RE4 to this is going to be a shock to anyone who enjoys the RE franchise. My recommendation: Skip this game. It is beyond pathetic and its sole purpose is to generate revenue for Capcom. I can not believe over 1 million copies of this game were sold, but given how I was duped, I can see why. People who don't read reviews are going to hate themselves for it later. This game is on "rails" which means you don't move your character, it moves for you. ... Read More Rating: - Just get RE4If you are a huge Resident Evil fan, like me this game is not worth it. I purchased this game thinking that it was all my RE games but like house of the dead. I was mistaken, I beat this game only for the added story, they left out major scenes from every game. If you are looking for a good game that is completely worth it, Resident Evil 4 is the way to go. |
