I use it to record notes and trip reports, as a general purpose USB drive to transfer files (2 GB memory!), and to record high quality stereo from audio sources. When using the Variable Control Voice Actuator (VCVA)at the factory setting, the beginning of every recorded segment after a pause is clipped off.
