 Rating:  - Arrived damaged, damage not from shippingThe unit arrived and looked to be in good condition. I thought about waiting to put oil and gas in it, but decided I'd better try it out before I really need it. Good thing I did as it began leaking gas everywhere. Upon further inspection I found a gash on the bottom of the gas tank. Where the damage is it is obvious it did not occur in shipping. It was damaged at the factory before assembly. A replacement gas tank is being mailed to me, hopefully this will be the only problem I have and the generator ... It did make my life tremendously easier (by powering my freezer, fridge and a small window unit), so I'm not going to bash it *too* much. But it is *not* of the best build quality that I've ever seen. I had to fight with it to keep it running properly (they're not kidding with they say too much or too little oil will automatically shut off the engine). Other than that it arrived with no damage. everything went together well. It held almost a quart of oil. I had about 1/8 of a bottle left. I moved and sold my coleman 5000 and realized I should not have, so I Started to look for one. I read the reviews on this one and liked what I read,so I am going on their word. I liked the free shiping and it was easy to start and is not as loud as my coleman 5000, and very easy to move around, and it shiped in very good shape, I am very pleased with it. The prior reviews inspired me to be prepared before I attempted assembly so I bought a flex neck funnel before I assembled and started my new toy.
