 Rating:  - eTrex Venture HCGreat product and very affordable. My dad wanted one of these to map out his fishing spots in the lake by our family cottage. It's so hard to find a GPS that comes with maps of cottage country in Canada, but the Venture HC has our lake. Easy to set waypoints on the map and works quite well when travelling by car or boat. If you're jogging, the speed readings won't be so accurate though. Rating:  - Please with Garmin GPS but instruction are somewhat complicatedI have used my Garmin Venture GPS several times with good results. Overall I am very pleased with its performance but the instructions are very difficult to work through at times. A step by step format would probably be better. I still have difficulty with some of the functions without having the instruction book handy. I have a Garmin Forerunner 201 as well as the Venture. First, it has a special folder just for geocaches, which (because this product is a Garmin) can be downloaded directly from the geocaching.com website to the device, or you can enter them manually using the geocache symbol and it automatically sorts them. For those of us that are not GPS experts, the company expects a lot if they think the manual that comes with it explains things well.
