Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Don't just take snapshots! Take control over your composition with increased camera performance and sharper images that will exceed your expectations! With the use of a tripod you can achieve greater performance and maintain image quality for cropping and larger picture sizes. Also, it will allow you to holding steady enough to deliver all the performance the equipment you invested in can provide. You might even get into some pictures yourself, with the self-timer feature and your camera held secure on a sturdy tripod. Main Reasons to use a Tripod - Get maximum image quality whether you are shooting stills or video; Extremely Sharp pictures even at the shorter focal lengths and macro applications, never mind at the extreme telephoto settings where every little movement is magnified and reduces picture sharpness; Avoid camera shake from handholding, and never worry about shooting at slower shutter speeds.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - be very careful when you purchase this
This tripod is a true piece of junk, but it is useful. I give it two stars instead of lower only because it does not pretend to be anything other than what it is.

The material and construction are of extremely low quality. There are two spring-loaded parts. One was not working correctly when I opened the package. That didn't matter since it's a part I won't use, but the other would make the tripod almost unusable if it broke.

I was looking for a low-priced tripod to set ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good and cheap
Can't complain. It's a simple tri-pod with expendable legs and a bubble level for a cheap price! Even with shipping and handling it was cheaper than I could find locally at Wal-Mart, Target, ect. Perfect for family use.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Targus TG-50TR
This is and excellent product however, my granddaughter has a flip camera and there is no way to attach so we had to use self-stick adhesive wrap to attach it. The review says all digital cameras but that is not necessarily so.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Thrifty pod
Can't beat the price, but if you are looking for something sturdy and solid, this is not it. The material is very lightweight, which can be good and bad. At full extension it is quite week, I would not recommend it for a D-SLR or heavy video camera. It works great for point and shoots and is very portable/compact. If you are looking for something small that gets the job done for a great price, then this is it. I am using it with a full featured point and shoot (sony H9) and it supports the weight fine.
