Editorial Review: Product Description: Thrillville: Off the Rails amps up the family-friendly mix of gameplay with some of the most outlandish roller-coaster concepts ever imagined, as well as new ways to talk to park guests and a new array of carnival games. 20 death-defying rides so outrageous inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: "WHOA!" Build incredible "WHOA Coasters" to leap from one track to another, launch through the air like cannonballs, blast through a burning ring of fire and more. A new lighthearted story ties together more than 100 missions, complete with 34 playable multiplayer theme-park games and social interaction with park guests that's better than ever. The in-depth conversations both advance the plot and suggest better ways to manage the park but is every guest to be trusted? Attach animatronics, flowers and flaming hoops to all of your coasters and rides Smarter guests, better dialogue and more focused two-way conversation make Thrillville's socialization aspects even more amusing than before Conversation more directly impacts the story than in the original Thrillville Play 34 minigames - 14 new, 20 returning from the original Thrillville with new levels such as Robo K.O., Sparkle Quest, Bandito Chinchilla and Tank Frenzy Average Rating:

I have to give it only 4 stars though because the mini-games could have been much much better. She says that it is close to the best ds game ever made. [P.S. Watch the video it tells you so much!] Rating: - Fun and slightly addictiveThis is a fun game. You can forget the time very easily. My 7 yr old nephew was also hooked and loved being able to have his character ride the coasters he had just built. Midway style games are fun to play and some can be multi player on one game card with multiple DS units. Rating: - FunKids love this game but it is so easy for it to get lost/misplaced because of its small size. Rating: - Great GameThis is a great game! Worth the money and plays great on the DS at your fingertips. Rating: - Addicting!More fun that I thought it would be. Let me start by saying I'm an adult and I've had a lot of fun with this game so far. I spent nearly my entire Sunday playing it for hours. The biggest downfall is that sometimes when you're tracing the roller coaster portions, the DS does not recognize them, specifically the loops. The other issue is that I wish you could just click somewhere to find a certain thing and not have to search the map; i.e. a certain person (mechanic), game or ride. Other then ... Read More |
