The 2gb microSD card is easy to insert or remove, and so the unit can be easily used as either: 1. a quick way to transfer data to/from the microSD card through a USB port, or 2. a small and convenient usb thumbdrive. This is ideal for key ring attachment and to date has survived well on mine. Rating: - Great Bridge Device for my Blackberry 8830I bought this to store music, photos, text and html files on my Blackberry 8830. This is definitely the way to go. Organize them on the PC and then put them on the flash card for the Blackberry. Everything is available under "Media" > "Explore". Rating:  - MicroSD ReaderThe reader works as expected, however, I had problems inserting the chip into the reader far enough for the computer to read the chip. I was concerned about breaking the chip by having to push the chip what I thought was with too much force. It didn't break, maybe it was the newness of the contacts? Rating: - Works great, Mac compatible, Sansa compatible, FAT-16This 2GB microSD card and USB adapter do the trick. I can plug the adapter into my OS X Mac and read and write the card quickly and without issues. The card is formatted as FAT-16, so just about anything should be able to read it. My SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 player does. A good price for the combination of card and adapter. The adapter doubles as a handy storage place for the fingernail-sized card, since it is large enough to not lose easily. |
