CONS: Product description was confusing. While the label here at Amazon states that it's for Macbook models (MA561LL/A, which is the same as the ones sold at the Apple website), the battery shipped to me had "13" Macbook Pro" sticker on it. This machine has had very heavy use since it's purchase in 2006, and the original battery had deteriorated to the point of lasting 30 minutes or so. It is operating like new with this replacement. Pros: It holds a decent enough charge.. not a hugely significant difference than the original battery on my MacBook that just all of a sudden crapped out on me. However, the battery was apparently a "recycled" or "refurbished" one. When I click "purchase" online, it was promised a "NEW" battery from Apple. Although the battery reached fully charging capacity, I still thought I was cheated on this product. I didn't bother returning the product to the company which I believed would make my holiday spirit turning sour.. |
