I purchased this flash to accompany my Intova Camera for a planned dive trip to Honduras. The unit worked as expected. Easy to use with pretty good power economy. The flash uses 2 AAA batteries and I only changed them once during a 400 picture trip. The unit has 3 syncing modes and 3 power/intensity modes. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Helps avoid shadow of the camera's housing
This little slave unit helps overcome a shadow cast by the camera strobe when taking close ups when the camera is in the housing, and gives the camera a little more reach. A useful addition, but I did sometimes have trouble getting to trigger. It might be because I had the optical cable attachment attached which does restrict the standard back flash from triggering the slave.
