 Rating:  - Where is the CD for Linux?The title of this product is "Workstation V6 Win CD." Amazon sells another product called "Workstation V6 Linux CD" which you can see by clicking the "other products by VMware" highlighted phrase at the top. Some reviewer are reporting they get both products in one box, and some report they don't. Seems best to be sure what host operating system you want to use this product on and buy accordingly. Rating:  - Windows SpecificThis is a great product, but this page is slightly confusing. This is a Windows specific version. Although the box you purchase here contains both the windows and Linux versions the serial number provided is specific to Windows. If you are planning on using it with Linux as a host you will need to purchase the Linux version which is not sold by Amazon. Rating: - Just answer the effing questionThese people seem to me to be unwilling, or worse incapable, to answer some very rudimentary questions about whether or not virtualising rendering farms realises performance gains. Doesn't speak to the quality of the product, I do concede - I would however argue that it speaks to the quality of it's technical support.
