He uses them to steady himself in the shower. I don't believe you can put much weight on them but for balance they are very useful. Rating: - Works well on smooth Corian surfacesThis balance safety bar works well on smooth Corian walls (with no grout lines). It has been almost two months and we have not had to re-apply sunction. It really stays in place. One important note: it is intended for BALANCE only and should not be used to support your weight.
