![]() Rating: - 2 defective chips!I LOVE this game, however i am in process of returning the second one. Both froze at a certain level, no way to progress, and finally totally froze. Tried in another nintendo gameset, and did the same thing after clearing the chip. Soooo maybe just a bad group, but am not replacing it. Amazon has been wonderful about the thing though. Too bad, a truly good game, addicting. Rating: - So simple in theory...No time limits, unlimited 'undo's, a simple concept - this game has to be a piece of cake! Not even close. While the idea (pulling off tiles to form words) is dead simple, winning the game is quite difficult. I've only played the 'daily puzzle' version, as I have no one else to play against, so my review will really only cover that game mode. Still, that alone would be reason to buy it! I like the fact that there are two levels of winning - clearing the board and beating ... That means to me its more of a relaxation than a tension intensive game which is something nice in the evenings after a hard days work. That one reason me and my wife play it for hours till late night. Also the same puzzle can be solved in multiple ways (by the choice of tiles and words), meaning you can play the same puzzle 2-3 times back-2-back and not get ... If you don't mind a game that doesn't advance to much more complex levels (essentially solving the same puzzles with different letters on each different game), this is for you. It's a good game for a casual player, but not for someone who's looking for an in-depth gaming experience. Rating: - Very fun and forgivingThis game is like Scrabble "lite" meets mahjong "lite", so you can work your brain without beating your brain. There are three nice single player modes: A "Daily Puzzle" mode, a "Temple Challenge" mode where you attain a higher rank as you complete more puzzles, and a "Battle Mode" which is a turn-based competition on a single board against computer opponents of increasing difficulty. Another reviewer said that the game supplies a lot of vowels, and this is true, so it's ... Read More |
