 Rating:  - Takes too Much Time - Bad ResultsWe really tried to give this product a chance but it just does not do the job for us. As many reviewers have said, you spend way too much time correcting! We changed setting and tried everything recommended by the product and by other reviewers. Two of us practiced for at least a week and neither of us had much luck. It was rare when the scan came out with the correct results. We found much better luck with an HP scanner using OCR. Rating:  - Good Concept, terrible product.I received this in hopes that I could scan text from books to create concise notes to study from quickly and accurately, I was wrong though. This product did not scan text accurately, actually did not come close and while it is a great concept I am highly dissappointed in the performance of this pen scanner especially at a cost of about $180. There is a lot of work still to be done to make this a quality product which can save time and allow for quick accurate scans and I really hope that there are ... I take it along with my laptop to the library and just scan the information that i need. I don't have to lug books back and forth. Everything is really just a scan away. It beats have to type the notes in by hand. I think it really is a must have for anyone in college. Rating: - Does what its supposed to doI bought this product with the hopes that it could cut some of my workload in half. And it did exactly just that. Using the pen, I was able to scan all the text that I needed into my computer in no time as opposed to having to type all that information in. It took me a couple of minutes in the beginning to figure out the right way to scroll and scan and calibrate, but once I did, I used the pen without a hitch for the most part. Read More Rating:  - Left handed on a macI bought this originally to get some UPC information into my MacBook laptop without having to type. The first night I had this on my computer, I couldn't get it to work no matter how much I calibrated it. However, after finding out that I had to hold the pen still on a piece of paper while calibrating, it worked almost flawlessly afterwards.
