Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Too Hard to control for young kids
This was too hard for my 4 and 7 year old to control. They couldn't play the game because you have to control it by placing a cursor in the direction you want the cat to go and then making it go there. They couldn't keep the cursor on the screen. Even I couldnt control it good enough to win the first mini-game race. I would not recommend this for young children at all.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - So-So All Around
Petz Catz2 delivers only a so-so game experience. The game is clearly targeted at younger users, however, it involves a tremendous amount of reading. This is fine for my seven year old, but my five year old is frustrated by the never-ending series of dialog pop-ups. Also, while it claims to be two-player friendly, only very limited mini-games are available in two-player mode. The primary, story-driven game is single player only. I really wanted to like this title for my children, but I can't ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful game for younger kids!
We bought this for our 7-year-old son. He is obsessed with cats and we hoped he would enjoy it. The game title and cover are misleading, as we thought it would be a game that involved taking care of cats. Instead, these are not "pet" cats at all. It's an adventure where your lead character cat has to save it's little town (and the world?) from an evil wolf who has taken control of the "Magic Hat." Our son was a little disappointed at first, but after he was past the training part of the game, ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Purr-fect!
I'm surprised by the negative reviews on this game. Our family absolutely loves this game! We have several Wii games, and this has been our kids' favorite since we bought it two months ago. My son is 7 and my daughter is 4 1/2, and they both love it. The cover picture makes it look like it is a cutesy girly game, but it is not. I would say the ideal target audience for this game would be boys and girls, ages 4-10. There are dozens of cats to choose from to play. There are so many lands to explore. ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - DON'T JUDGE A GAME BY ITS COVER!!!! :(
i thought it was going to be a game that you could have forever and not get tired of it. i thought you were going to take care of a kitten and watch it grow up, play with it, feed it, and unlock other cats to play with. that's what i got from the case. but i was wrong. it is completely the opposite. you do quests, and you can dress the cat up in outfits you have to buy and find. and thats it! no caring for an animal! complete let down. i thought this would be a perfect wii game, so my daughter could ...
