Editorial Review: Product Description: Enjoy and enhance your playing experience with your Wii like never before with this Wireless Sensor Bar. It allows full remote functionality without the hassle of tangled wires connected to the console, which makes for a safer environment, and not to mention a more organized look. The infrared field created by the sensor bar allows for play up to 8 feet away, ideal for active games that require body movement. It is operated by two AA batteries (not included) and has a power saver mode that shuts down when the bar is not in use, which allows for a lengthier playing time. No installation or drivers are required for set up; just place the sensor bar in the Wii's sensor bar stand (or anywhere desired), turn on the on/off switch in the rear, and you are ready to rock and roll. ![]() Rating: - Not worth itI just bought this bar a few days ago and got it in the mail, today. In a way, it is misleading, telling you it requires 3 AAA batteries, when it only takes two, and mine works LESS than 8 feet away. It's rather annoying, because even when you are less than 8 feet away, the icon from your Wii mote begins to shake badly, and sometimes fades in and out. I am very upset that I paid money for an item that fails to deliver. If anything, I advise peopel to steer clear of this product! Rating: - The image is misleading! The product works fine when you are about 8 feet away, any farther it stops sensing your wiimote. Also, the sensor is actually white with a black strip. It looks nothing like the picture. It won't match your black TV. Rating: - It works. Well, sort of.I received the WII wireless sensor and it works. Except for the on/off switch is backwards. Hehe. It's actually on when you set it to off and off when you set it to on. But it works just fine. |
