 Rating:  - Bad news. Shyster conpany. Steer clear.I purchased this item. It wouldn't accept a tape. I sent it back. The second unit wouldn't time record. These units are factory rejects, not refurbished units. Steer clear. The girl told me a lie when she said UPS had been called and was to pick up the unit that day. UPS never showed. Her supervisor said if we would give Discount Jungle a good rating, they would credit our account. That's coertion. I'd rather eat the unit than give a good rating to a company that doesn't deserve it. ... Read More Rating: - Don't even think about it!!!I received this for Christmas for my children to watch old VHS movies. It quit working today - less than 6 months old. Be prepared to replace it soon if you buy it. We didn't even use it that often. Merry Christmas! LOL Rating: - This is cheaper than cheap!We got this for the kids to watch all their old movies that we had accumulated. We didn't need anything fancy and thought this would fit the bill. It quit rewinding after about 3 months and quit playing completely not long after. It is a worthless piece of JUNK! Rating: - It spits out the tape!!!I bought this VCR about 15 months ago... and it doesn't work. I mean when I first got it, it worked fine. Ok so it felt rather cheap and flimsy...but I didn't care cause I really thought it was going to work regardless of how crappy it felt. WRONG!!!! When I set the VCR to record a program it'll record for A WHOOOOOOOOLE 20 secs and then all the lights start flashing and in a matter of seconds the tape will spit out!!! Please don't confuse his bad luck with a previously repaired item, for the quality that this vcr really has. I have approx 3000 movies on vhs. I wanted something to guarantee watchability in the future, as things go digital. Makes no sense to re-purchase everything I have on vhs.
