 Rating:  - Great for the average householdI've been using Panda antivirus 2008 for about 3 months now and for the most part I have been extremely satisfied. Installation and setup was quick and easy, and I think the protection level is much better than the previous programs I've used over the years. With one exception (I'll explain in a sec) I haven't noticed any type of slowing of my computer. The only thing I don't like is that I play on-line games, and since installing Panda, I've noticed some minor increase in lag and load times. ... No real slowdown was noted, however this is on a very fast PC. The email/phishing filter in totally broken, however. So far it has been 100 percent incorrect in every action. It took like 2 minutes for programs like WORD to upload (which was 10 sec. before) not to talk about internet browsing. My computer acted like it would have an virus. However, I reinstalled the program and bought McAfee instead. No problem there. It works just beautifully!!!
