The program itself isn't that great and runs pretty buggy on Vista. It was a hog everytime it did an update, which was anytime it wanted to and gave no warning it was updating. The only way you knew McAfee was updating was when everything slowed way down. I had reviewed its performance and it took 90 percent of my cpu time just updating. I grew to detest it. I found BitDefender a welcome relief. It does its job very well. ...
