Editorial Review:

Product Description:
It's the wired mouse that reinvents the wheel - the scroll wheel. Mighty Mouse features the amazing Scroll Ball that lets you move anywhere inside a document, literally without lifting a finger. And with touch-sensitive technology concealed under the seamless top shell, you can choose either the versatility of a four-button mouse or the simplicity of a single-button beauty.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Caveat Emptor
As part of a system upgrade, I bought a tailed Mighty Mouse. My Logitech S530 mouse died and I thought that having a tailed mouse and not having to change batteries would be a good thing.

However, the implementation was not what I expected. I reaffirmed that I don't like tailed mice. The cable is always in my way. But this was a minor irritation compared to what happened after I used the mouse for few hours.

I found myself in the middle of the "jumping mouse cursor syndrome." ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Profoundly Flawed Design
Despite being a proud Mac user, (this hideous device came with my wonderful mac pro) the mighty mouse is a prime example of disposable electronics. I'm seconding the numerous reviews posted already concerning the deplorable, piss poor scroll ball that can be permanently disabled by even the most innocous speck of debris. The fifty @#$%ing dollar price tag is the biggest reason my normal sense of objectivity fails me completely in writing this review. My only recommendation is the Razer Pro Click 1.6, which ... The Apple Mighty Mouse works as advertised and the seller shipped the merchandise as promised. I am please with my shopping experience on Amazon dot com

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - poor performance
This mouse works well if you want a mouse that does nothing but move your pointer around the screen.

I have had this mouse for over a year and my scroll wheel stopped working ages ago. When I had my iMac in for some maintenance, I asked for a new one because I thought mine was broken because of the scroll wheel not working. They told me I just had to clean it. I have cleaned it multiple times (With a microfiber cloth and water) and it only slightly improves performance half of the time, and it ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not so Mighty Mouse - Avoid at all costs
I am a hard core mac user and currently own 5 of them.

I have been dealing with the mighty mouse for nearly 3 years now and can honestly say that it is the worst product I have ever experienced from Apple.

I do not have a problem with the right click like many other users, but do concur that the right and left buttons are for the most part useless and are immediately disabled whenever I set up a new machine.

The thing that really kills this product for me is the scroll ... Read More
