What I was very pleased to see was that the video quality was fantastic compared to our older model Canon. In general it performs as advertised and the small form factor is convenient. It is not a pro-camera and offers few manual controls - but you know that when you buy it. It cannot replace a good DSLR nor is it good as my older G5. But that said, I cannot fault the portability of this camera.
