Rating:  - great scannerThis is a small, lightweight scanner. It will fit into a computer bag alongside your laptop. There are no separate power cords to lose or get tangled, since it uses the USB cable to the computer for power. I have a Mac and it works great; no compatibility problems whatsoever. Choosing what software to install can be confusing, but I installed all, and after testing each one, I uninstalled what I didn't need (I kept the driver and PhotoStudio 5.5). It can do multiple scanning, and with the Advanced Mode, you can manipulate different settings and options. This one seemed to fit the bill. The scan quality is very good, and since this scanner uses LED lighting, there's no warm-up wait. Scans are quick with an acceptable amount of noise.
