 Rating: - Computer boots fasterMy 2008 Norton A/V intolerably slowed down booting both a desktop and a laptop, and occasionally caused them to run slowly. The virus scans were also time consuming. So, based on user reviews, I decided to try the bitdefender. Insert the disk and follow the prompts. I also like the fact that it is updated every hour and when it does, no programs or computer speed is affected. It was time to renew my Norton and I was looking for an alternative as I was tired of being alerted so much just to find out that they were trying to sell me an upgrade or something else. Bit Defender was so easy to install, and unobtrusive to operate. The price was much lower than Norton and I got two years on three PC's for less than Norton's one year offer.
