Time-Saving Memory and Phonebook Features
Designed to give you easy access to the numbers you call most often, and to help you keep track of those numbers calling you, the DCX200 offers features that save you time and stress. First, the system stores up to 30 names and numbers in the caller ID memory, so you won't have to hunt for lost numbers ever again. And to help keep you organized, the DCX200 offers a phonebook feature that stores up to 70 names, performs an alphabetical search and gives you the option of assigning unique ringers to different calling parties.
You can also quickly and easily transfer a single listing or the entire phonebook. For added convenience, the handset displays the name and number of the caller in call waiting even while you are on the phone with someone else. (Note: to activate the Caller ID feature, you must first subscribe through your phone company.)
Easy Personalization
The DCX200 is easy to personalize--just create your own banner to name each handset, and then copy the phonebook from the handsets so you always have the information you need when you need it. The clock display helps keep you on time and on track, while the bilingual English/Spanish menus offer information on how to set-up and access helpful features.
About DECT Technology
Advanced DECT 6.0 technology, or Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications, operates on the newly released 1.9 GHz frequency band that was recently allocated to support cordless telephony. Uniden DECT 6.0 incorporates unique "listen before transmit" technology that avoids interference with many household products, such as baby monitors, microwaves and WiFi (which operate on frequencies like 2.4 GHz). These Uniden phones are fantastic! The person who wrote that they feel cheap is way off the mark. The phones are small and light.....exactly what I want in a cordless phone. If that guy wants a heavy cordless phone made of solid steel he should teleport back to the 1980's. These Unidens have rubber buttons which provide a great "feel" when dialing. This phone will not register and keeps searching for the base. It won't charge properly. and I need to return it. How do I do that?

Good price from Amazon on the accessory unit. I have four (max number) connected to one base unit and they all work and communicate with each other as promised. I use them with a TMobile hotspot at home router with no problems so far.

This is the 3rd set of Uniden phones we have in our house. All are currently in use and all are excellent. They have a solid feel to the handsets, give outstanding clarity to conversations, and the directions for setting-up and use are terrific!

This hand set resides in my den and i get crystal clearl reception.
I love the update of the phone book to all the other hand sets i have 2 others this is just so great .phone is easy to use so long as you at least read the manual one lol.I would recommend this phone to any body who has never had a dect phone the difference is amazing .
