Lets me take my Garmin on bike rides - without having to buy another GPS - clips right in and off you go. Rating: - Better than I thought!!Having a GPS on my bike is great. When we find a place that we want to go to, I program my gps( Garmin Nuvi from Amazon) to "Bike Mode" and off we go. Very easy to install and holds like a charm. A must have if you bike ride and have a Nuvi. Rating: - Good ProductI've gone about 150 miles on my road bike with this mount and it has worked great. It's overpriced, just like all accessories, but worth it if you like exploring new routes on the fly, or if you just like knowing exactly where you are. Holds up on bumpy roads. You can mount it to either the handlebars or the bike stem. Rating: - good handlebar mountholds gps well.. wish they used reuseable straps ?waterhose type clamps to secure it so it can be used on more than one bicycle without replacing the straps.. Rating:  - Fits 3.5" nuvi onlyThe Garmin line of accessories is as specific as the GPS models. My nuvi 260W came with an windshield mount that would fit either the 3.5" nuvi 260 or the 4.5" 260W version. The bicycle mount has a cradle that grips the sides of the nuvi and will only hold the 3.5" models. It was not apparent from the image for the product. I have to either buy another GPS unit or saw off the wings on the mount. |
