This music DVD contains 2 discs with material recorded during the band's 2006 homecoming tour through Iceland. Particularly special about it are the intimate (at times, unplugged) performances the band did for their fellow countrymen and women for free. Complementing these are some incredibly powerful (as in LOUD, get-off-your-seat-for-once) performances from their first four albums that are bound to have you give them all the respect they've earned as one ... Read More Rating: - A Magnificent ExpositionThis documentary is a beautiful and magnificent exposition of the band, Sigur Rós, their exquisite music, and the awe-inspiring land that birthed them. I enjoyed every minute of this and literally had my breath taken by some the imagery. Worth it? Yes. Rating: - GoldBeautiful live dvd If you are a fan of Sigur Ros or Iceland you will love this one. Rating: - Even my wifeloved this video. The music is beautiful - even if the words aren't in English and the scenery is outstanding. I especially liked the energy of the show in Rejkavik - The whole idea of touring Iceland and playing for free in a wide variety of venues - if you can call an open field or abandoned fish processing facility a venue, was charming and clearly illustrates the bands love and respect for their country.
