![]() Rating: - Fantastic musicIf you are a Dr Who fan and enjoy the music just as much as the stories (let's face it, the music is part of the story) then this is a great little CD to have. You will know instinctively which piece of music belongs to which episode or character. Well worth it. Enjoy Rating: - Great Stuff! The music is excellent for the third series of the new Doctor Who. I particularly loved the creepy feeling that the Blink music had -- still creeps me out when I hear it! The best part, I think, is all the music surrounding the three part finale -- so energetic and so ominous! The only disappointment is that the "Devil in Me" song was not done by the original actress. I'm not sure why it is decided, now twice, that the original performer should not render that performance for the soundtrack. ... There is nothing boring or pompous here, as some people might think because of the use of a full classical orchestra. This is lively music that tells a story with notes, and even ... Read More Rating: - Wonderful Soundtrack, with great music!!I've always been an avid fan of Doctor Who and the new series has not changed my opinion. I own both soundtracks and I enjoy both. The second soundtrack follows the emotional tormoil and anguish of the series as well as its more humorous side making it something worth listening to over and over - as I've done since purchasing it. I recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys emotional music that can move without leading! |
