This is way better than guitar hero and it is something the whole family can enjoy. The song selection is pretty good. There are a few I wouldn't have picked, but I am sure some people dig them. Most of the songs are great and it definitely gives you a variety of songs to help you grasp a range of musical and gaming ability. We got the PS2 version ... I can finally fulfill my secret dream of being a drummer (on something more than my steering wheel)! The guitar and microphone are great features as well. The newest new disc also skips on the same songs, so we have yet to figure out if it's the system ... Unfortunately it is defective and a person has to go through hoops to get a replacement. It can't be shipped back to Amazon and replaced, you need to go through EA games. When you open the package there is a notification saying if it doesn't work contact EA games, do not contact the vendor. I did contact Amazon and they responded helpfully but time will tell if we get ours. It also went down in price in 1 week. Oh well, pray ... Trying to play guitar while singing is quite challenging! My biggest thing was deciding whether to just by the game or the bundle, and I bought the bundle, so here's what I think. I do not love the guitar, and after a few songs on hard switched back to my red gibson and did much better. People have said they like the fact the strum bar doesn't click, and this doesn't bother ... Read More |
