![]() Rating: - Too much coordinationThe tambourine is sort of fun, but takes too much coordination to get the whole song to play for a little person at the low end of the suggested age range for the product. He lost interest quickly. Will try it again in a few months and see if he enjoys it more then. Rating: - STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONETHIS WAS RETURNED IMMEDIATELY. MOST OF THE TIME IT NEVER WORKED PROPERLY. YOU WOULD SHAKE IT AND ANNOYING SOUNDS EMITTED FROM IT. YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW IT WAS MUSIC FOR CHILDREN. I CHANGED THE BATTERIES BUT NOTHING CHANGED. SHAKE IT AND FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS YOU HEARD SOMTHING THEN YOU WOULD HAVE TO SHAKE IT OVER AND OVER. THE MUSIC OR WHATEVER IT WAS IS AWFUL. STAY AWAY NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT GETS. Rating: - if kids like musicthey will like this. I bought it for my two and three year old daycare kids. you have to press a button and then shake it. if you stop shaking the music stops. we have the piano and guitar like it and they play if you keep using them. saves batteries that way. I doubt they will play with it much when they are past 3 3/4 but it is fun for them now. they all grab one and play like they are in a band. if kids have a short attention span I doubt this would be good for them. Rating: - save your moneyMy sister in law bought this as a gift for my son-i can't imagine how it could be considered a child's toy when adults have problems using it. My 6'1" 190 lb husband couldn't shake this thing hard enough to get any music out of it-how exactly do they expect a child to work it? Rating: - Great for a ToddlerI bought this as a gift for my 3-yr-old granddaughter because the description said it was appropriate for the 24 months to 5 years age group. I don't know who decided that, but as soon as I saw it, I knew my granddaughter was too old for this toy. From all appearances, it is a toddler toy. I gave it to a little girl turning two because I knew she loves music, and it was ideal for her. She had a lot of fun playing with it. |
