Editorial Review: Product Description: This Intova IC500 Underwater Digital Camera is really a kit that includes a 5.0 mega-pixel digital camera and underwater housing. With this kit you can take photographs as you explore the ocean world both above and below the surface. This easy to use camera is good to depths of up to 130' (40 m). Of course it is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes. The camera features a 2.5" LCD display. This makes composing your photos easy and fun. The camera flash can be used to take underwater photos, but an external strobe is recommended to improve color and reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water. The Pixtreme Flash Set is the perfect flash to use with this camera. Another alternative is to shoot available light with the color correction filter included in the Pixtreme Lens Kit. The camera housing allows access to all camera functions. Average Rating:

It's about what I expected for the price, and is definitely worth the price. Rating: - Works great and takes high quality photosThis camera has been excellent. It is compact and mobile, takes great photos outside and in water. I recommend it. When I found this one for $90, I jumped on it. I tried it out on land, and was pretty happy with the photos. Easy to use, etc. The waterproof housing being included for no cost is a nice bonus to what was already a good deal. I popped the camera into the housing, and spent an hour or so taking photos of some kids swimming around in the pool to see how it worked. ... Read More Rating: - Good camera for the priceI purchased this camera as an alternative for disposable 35mm underwater cameras for vacation pictures. For the price, I would recommend it. Camera: The camera, without its underwater case, is very tiny. I've taken 185 pictures, some underwater and some regular, and only about 15 were disappointing. Pictures will be blurry if the camera is not held still. Since it was inexpensive I did not expect it to be as good as my regular digital camera, so I'm ok with the proportion of good ... Read More |
