 Rating:  - Amazing Voice!Menzel's voice sounds fantastic, as always, on her new album. I could, and have, listen to her sing anything. However, the songs on this album vary widely in quality. Some of them were quite moving, but many just didn't get my attention, and a few, especially at the end of the album, just made me sad. I skip over the end of the CD now every time I listen to it. Still, I'll listen to many of the songs on this album over and over again just to hear her voice. Rating:  - Not terrible, not as good as Idina can beThe album isn't bad, persay. But I've seen what Idina can with her voice, and frankly, this CD isn't nearly as exciting or interesting as her other work. I love her unique voice, but these bland pop tunes don't let her do anything with it. In fact that great musical theater "nasal" sound she has sounds out of place and misused. I say skip this one and see her in her next show instead! Rating: - WonderfulIdina Menzel delivers another top performance with this new CD "I Stand". The title track is incredible as her voice bellows out, you just get goose bumps listening to it. Track 07 & 09 are also wonderful. I highly recommend this CD if you are an Menzel fan or even if you like any new age sounding music. Rating: - Thumbs upWith her clear-cut voice and direct lyrics, Menzel really sounds like she's singing truthfully. She's got such an amazingly powerful voice, and could really sing just about anything. I really loved I stand, Brave, and Gorgeous. But I get tired of the same sound for the entire time. Maybe that's why by the end of the CD I wasn't as jazzed about the songs. The last three songs on the CD seemed to be the edgy, downer songs. They seemed so angry and negative. While they may ...
