 Rating:  - Happy with this pacifierI bought these pacifiers because my son really liked the soothies brand he got in the NICU but they always seemed very bulky and heavy for him. He would often spit them out because of that. I tried the gumdrops because the nipple is the same but the construction of the shield is more contoured and lighter. He likes them just as much as the soothies and it seems like he latches on to them more easily. Rating: - For babies who prefer the breastMy daughter wanted to constantly use me as her pacifier and I tried every pacifier in the store but she wouldn't latch on to any of them for more than a few seconds. I read the reviews and decided to order a few of these so that maybe I could get a few hours of sleep instead of having her 'nurse' off me all night. They worked wonders! These are the only pacifiers she will use. They are lightweight, which is great b/c they're less likely to wake her up by falling out of her mouth once she's asleep. ... She loved the Soothie but had a hard time keeping it in her mouth and would cry if it fell out. The Gumdrop is the best of both worlds. It feels like the Soothie but is shaped like any other pacifier so it actually stays in. After a long search for the perfect Binky, we found it in the Gumdrop! These are the best pacifiers that you could use. They aren't too big for newborn babies mouths or too small for an older baby. My daughter was 5 pounds and 6 ounces at birth and these were perfect for her. Rating: - Gumdrop pacifierI was under to impression that this pacifier (full term) was for older babies (>7months). This is the only paci he has known since birth and want take another one. I just wish they would make a larger size for older babies...otherwise great pacifier. |
