Amazon.com Product Description: Boasting a slender, lightweight design made specifically for women, the Reebok Fitwatch all-in-one heart rate monitor/sports watch uses patented "pulse technology" to measure the electrical pulses sent out by your heart each time it beats. As a result, it's easy to track your heart rate during workouts without wearing an uncomfortable chest strap. All you have to do is touch the sensors on the watch, and within four seconds you'll receive not only an accurate heart rate reading, but also the number of calories burned thus far. The monitor also offers a programmable heart rate zone indicator that boasts audible and visual alarms for when you're veering outside the zone, along with another alarm that alerts when you're nearing your maximum rate. Made from durable, water-resistant plastic, the device also offers several regular watch functions, plus a 100-hour stopwatch and countdown timer. The Fitwatch comes with a complete walking and exercise guide and a one-year warranty. About Reebok Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners, and before long his fledgling company--J.W. Foster and Sons--developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Okay watch except...The watch is okay except the calorie counter is not accurate. You only enter your age and sex, no weight. The heart rate seems to be accurate, but it does not read when you are in the middle of excercise. I really wanted a watch that had the heart rate monitor and an accurate calorie counter. I've returned this watch to Amazon after a few uses and have purchased a different brand. |
