The cars are sturdy, well designed, and will provide many options for creative play. The interchangeable color coded parts will provide a variety of creative applications for an inquisitive three year old, while being nearly indestructible. She was very fascinated by these cars, and she figured out the concept of pegs and holes surprisingly quickly. She was able to put together various cars by herself and entertained herself for 30 minutes at a time, a very long time for a young toddler.
