The radio was on and Alan Jackson's Small Town Southern Man came on, (it had not been released yet). This is about as country as country music can get nowadays and with Alan singing it doesn't get too much better than this. This album was as comfortable to me as curling up in bed and reading a good book that you can't take your eyes off until the end. Great job Alan! Rating: - the whole CD is so much fun!besides from all being great quality, the fact that there are 17 whole songs is just great & surprising on a CD these days! while the whole CD is really good summertime listening, my favorite songs are the following: 1, 2, 4, 6, 10, 11, 13 & 17. my ABSOLUTE favorite song is track 8--its lyrics are great & it has such an infectious, catchy beat! BUY THIS CD without hesitation :) Rating: - The Small Town Southern Man Has Another Winner! This cd sure was a Good Time! We all know Alan Jackson as a what-you-see-is-what-you-get type of man and this cd is no different. Jackson stays true to what he knows best: faith and God, small-town living where life is simple and satisfying, and the love of a good woman. Jackson has been using this winning formula for years and over 10 albums later, its still a winner. "1976" is my favorite song and I suggest every country fan add this to their collection. Rating: - Jacko does it againOnce again a great CD from Alan Jackson. A good variety and quality recording. |
