 Rating:  - Capacity calculated using the new math apparently!I don't know how Amazon comes up with 8000 watts, let's do the math. AC output 120V @ 47AMPS = 6016 AC output 240V @ 23AMPS = 5520 What combination yields 8000 watts? How come other sites have this listed as a 6000 watt generator, which is a lot more realistic! Rating:  - Works well, no frills, but a great value.Works as it should. Easy to start. It powered my well pump, 2 fridges, outlets and lights with out much problem. I have only run it for a few minutes to check everything out. The Hz are little high and that gives one of my UPS a fit, I need to look into this. It is very heavy and a bit clumsy to move around but like I said it is no frills, just a basic genset. Noise levels are good, it's fairly quiet. Rating:  - Blue Max 8000 run greatThis generator starts on the first pull. Only thing to keep in mind is the weight. You need two people to lift it, especially in the back of a pickup. No complaints. Noise level is good. |
