![]() Rating: - Great game for young childrenThis is one of the few great wii games available for young kids. My son is 5 and plays with it and sometimes says its too easy for him. Rating: - Perfect! My daughter is 4 and absolutely loves this game! She figured out game play fast. I like the fact that there are little animations in the corner that show you what to do with the wiimote for certain actions, such as pumping up the hot air balloon or waving the elephants trunks to wash diego when he gets dirty. From what i've seen, there seems to be only one button that is ever pressed, otherwise its movements. There is a race mode that you can play with 2 players. The races are short, but fun ... I finally caved in and handed it over. I couldn't be happier. My son had never played a Wii (or any other video game) before Safari Rescue. After the game was first loaded, I probably spent ten minutes getting him acclimated. The first ten minutes were a struggle -- I stood behind him and moved his arms like he was a puppet. ... I don't know who came up with the ages on this game, but to pay attention to the screen while utilizing the remote control is not something a 3 year old is able to accomplish. I'm sure it will be good once he can master the remote for WII, I just hope he is still into Diego when he does. |
