This Cuisinart Stainless Steel can opener is the best I have ever used.
It is Stainless Steel not cheap silver plastic and is simple and easy to use. Just push and let go of the can it does the rest for you, no need to hold the can. Great looking addition to kitchen and highest quality.

This is the first time I buy a reconditioned product and I don't regret it. I will be buying more reconditioned products from now on. The quality of this can opener is the same as a brand new one. It opens cans smoothly, without a problem. I am very satisfied with my Stainless Steel "Reconditioned Cuisinart" can opener, it is certainly worth the price I paid for it $24.99. Can't find a better deal in Stainless Steel can openers than this.

I wanted this unit to replace a useless "cut the whole top off" style opener we bought to match our new kitchen decor. When shopping, I was put off by the Cuisinart's retail price -$60 is rediculous for a classic can opener - but I saw this reconditioned unit for 1/2 price. Heavy (stabile),tall, and good looking. Best of all, it actually opens cans. No problems so far and at this price it was an excellent deal.

Considering the fact, this product states refurbished. I'm amazed at the like brand new condition, quality, performance, and design of this can opener.

I've spent triple the amount of money on other brands, of brand new can openers. They either bogged down or worse, they would release the can mid way around the opening cycle.

I put this one to the test as soon as it arrived. I opened a 3Lb can of coffee. It pierced right through top, and no bogging down of the motor.
