Rating: - Great second controllerI bought this so we could play co-op mode on guitar hero 3. Usually when we buy cheaper versions of video game controllers no one wants to use the cheaper one, but no one seems to see or feel a difference between the controller that came with the game and this spare one. That includes kids and adults. The only complaint is we weren't sure what color we were getting, we ended up getting a yellow one. We dressed it up with some cool stickers and it actually looks pretty sweet. Rating:  - It's OK, but not as good as the Activision Les PaulAs a huge fan of Guitar Hero 3, I bought the Nyko Frontman with eager anticipation that this guitar would be an equivalent, second controller for the GH3 game. Unfortunately, after using the Frontman controller, I greatly prefer the original Activision Les Paul controller that came with GH3. First the good things: the Frontman controller does seem to be well constructed. The buttons all seem to be of high quality, and the design looks pretty cool. Rating: - A great guitar at a great priceI was a bit hesitant going with a non "Guitar Hero" branded guitar, especially with some of the less than favorable reviews, but I am glad I took the chance. The Price for the Frontman is much more reasonable and so far the guitar has worked perfectly. I have not noticed any difference between it and the branded guitar. I am not quite sure yet, but I might even say I like it better. So if you are tired of playing Guitar Hero alone, I strongly recommend getting the frontman and saving a little cash ... Read More |
