You are getting all three of the outstanding Metal Gear games for the same price the Metal Gear 3 Subsistence game alone. The biggest knock on this deal is the fact it does not contain some of the extras that come with the other standalone packages. But you have to remember that this is the ESSENTIAL COLLECTION, not the ultra collection, or the super-duper amazing collection. I just have a couple of complaints. First off, I really wish they had taken the effort to put in the Twin Snakes version of Metal Gear Solid. Having the original version isn't really the same. I never played any of the metal gears before this, and due to this reason, I have held off on getting a ps3 for 3 months, just to play the fourth mgs.
