I purchased them to replace old phones that were hard to hear on and had crackling noises. They are nice looking and easy to use. These phones are clear and extend to quite a range. I can walk outside and around the corner to my mailbox and have no problems. My only issue is with caller ID. When someone beeps in, I cannot see who is calling. Rating: - Good but not greatOne thing you'll notice quickly is there is no MUTE button. There is a mute function, but it's connected to one of the unlabeled buttons just below the display. The mute label appears on the display, but unless you make a habit of looking at your display while talking you'll never find the mute button - a minor deficiency.
